Thank you to the Politics Department and students @bedfordsixthform for inviting me for a Q&A on a wide range of issues. I felt really privileged to have an insight into the thoughts, priorities and outlook of young people living in Bedford and Kempston. I was really impressed by the interest that the students paid and the level of scrutiny they gave me as a Parliamentary candidate.
This generation has had to deal with unprecedented life events during their critical years, for example a global pandemic and the after math of that. The War in Ukraine and many many other issues.
I am interested to listen to the youth voice and understand what is important to you - being a mother of a teenage son and a younger daughter, it is important to me that we get this right for future generations.
I want to hear from you and your ideas on how we can make Bedford and Kempston the best place that you can live, educate, and work.
